Quail Egg Tartlets with Asparagus & Chives
These quail eggs are a real treat!
Be careful cracking them open; they’re tiny and it’s easy to break the yolks.
Carefully cracking them with a knife works well.

Ingredients
1 pack of quail eggs
1 pack of savoury mini rounds
4 spears of asparagus, cut into
4 pieces
A small bunch of chives, sliced
Salt & pepper, to taste
Method
Preheat oven to 160 degrees.
Cover the base of the tartlet with chives and add a piece of asparagus.
Crack in the egg, season with salt and pepper, and top with more chives and asparagus.
Bake for 8 minutes or until the whites are just set.
Serve with mixed salad leaves and your favourite chutney!
