Pear and Raspberry Pie
I love a good fruit pie. And autumn is the perfect time to enjoy them!
New season apples are abundant now and berries are fantastically flavourful and aromatic.
So are Packham Pears!
This is a super simple pear and raspberry pie you can throw together really quickly. Get your hands on high quality puff pastry and you can’t go wrong!
You could also add your favourite spice mix.
It will be delicious with a crumble topping too!

6 Packham pears, peeled, cored and sliced
1 punnet raspberries
2 tbsp sugar
1 sheet puff pastry
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp raw sugar
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Place pears in a medium sized ovenproof dish (about 20 cm) and scatter over raspberries.
Sprinkle over 2 tbsp sugar and cover with pastry.
Bush pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle over the raw sugar.
Bake for about 25 to 30 mins or until puffed and golden.
