Bombay Style Indian Dhal
This week’s Foodie Friday recipe is a quick and easy dhal dish.
We’re quite happy to take on a cheat this week while we’re in lockdown!
From Basque With Love’s Bombay Style Indian Dhal kit is handcrafted with love in Melbourne and is simple to prepare and cook.
Tip: If you have leftovers, wrap them in pastry and cook up some samosas!

1 bunch of basil
Indian Dhal Lentil Kit
2 tbsp oil
5 c boiling water, plus a little extra if needed
¼ c fresh tomatoes, chopped
½ c baby spinach
Coriander to garnish
Heat the oil in a deep frypan over medium heat and add the dhal mix.
Stir for 1 min then add tomatoes and water.
Cook, stirring regularly, for 50 mins.
Add the spinach and stir until wilted.
Serve with a little coriander for freshness.
